In a fortunate twist of fate and luck, a Crown Verity grill has been credited with saving a young girl from a falling tree. The girl was standing at the patio doors when lighting struck a nearby tree, causing it to crash across the deck and nearly through the back of the house. A Crown Verity BBQ sitting on the deck took the brunt of the impact and stopped the tree only a few feet short of the girl who have been observing the violent storm.
