Grilled fresh figs and caramelized bananas with a frangelico and baileys mascarpone cream

Ingredients:
- per serving
- 2 fresh figs, halved
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
- Extra virgin olive oil to coat fruit
- 1 ounce frangelico
- 1 ounce baileys Irish cream
- 250 ml mascarpone cheese
- Balsamic syrup, to drizzle on plate
- Stir frangelico and baileys into mascarpone cheese,
- reserve.
Directions:
For balsamic syrup
reduce 2 cups of balsamic vinegar
and 2 tbl. of packed
brown sugar approx.
ΒΌ c. or syrup consistency,
let cool.
Cut figs in half and bananas in half and in quaters.
Toss figs and bananas in olive oil
just enough to prevent sticking to the grill.
Grill figs on high for 5 minutes
and bananas for about 2 miutes just to mark.
Swirl the balsamic syrup in middle of plate.
Place a dollop of mascarpone mixture in the middle.
Surround wiith bananas and figs.
Garnish with fresh mint and toasted nuts
