Cabernet Sauvignon Filet
INGREDIENTS
- 1 C Cabernet wine
- 4 Tbsp red currant jelly
- 1/4 C red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp grainy mustard
- 1 Tbsp garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp oregano
- 2, 6 oz tenderloins
PREPARATION
- Combine first six ingredients and marinate steak for a minimum of 1/2 hour or over night.
- Remove steak from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Then grill at 400F for 2 -3 minutes per side or as desired.
- In the meantime put the marinade in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce by 1/2 or 3/4.
ASSEMBLY
- Pour sauce all over steak.
- Serve with roasted potatoes, fresh green beans and cherry tomatoes.
