Grilled Sea Scallops w/Ponzu Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Soya Sauce
  • 1/4 C Water
  • 1/8 C Oyster Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tbsp White Vinegar
  • Sea Scallops
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Rosemary and Thyme sprigs

Preparation

  1. Mix glaze ingredients together in a bowl. (Simmer on medium heat to reduce by 1/4 if used as a sauce.)

  1. Skewer Sea Scallops on water soaked rosemary and thyme sprigs.

  2. Brush Sea Scallops with Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

  3. Grill for approx. 3-4 minutes on Med-High Grill.

  4. Turn and brush with Ponzu Glaze. Grill another 4 minutes or until scallops feel slightly firm. Should be opaque white throughout when done.

  5. Remove from grill and brush again with Ponzu Glaze.
